About:
Valley Stream Memorial Junior High School classes have made efforts to bring holiday joy to others this season. As one outreach project, students created cards for the Children’s Unit at Winthrop University Hospital in an effort to spread cheer. Another initiative was made possible through support from both students and staff members who created Thanksgiving baskets for families in need. Participants donated food and also helped to provide King Kullen gift cards to the recipients.
